How to Play

Choose a category — Mystery, Romance, Fairytale, or Situation — Everyone is dealt 5 Element Cards. Begin to tell your part of the story, ending with one of your Element Cards. Place it face down on the table. The object of the game is to be the first player to play all of your cards.

Next, players rate your part of the story with a Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down Rating Card. All Ups? Keep your story rolling and use another one of your Element Cards. All Downs? Draw from the deck. Mixed votes? The next storyteller takes over.

Better pay attention! If you draw from the deck and pick up a Recall Card you may have to recall 1, 2, or possibly 3 of the Element Cards your opponents already played. Be the first to play all your cards and become the Master Storyteller!
Every round takes the story somewhere new, sometimes hilarious, sometimes heartfelt, always unpredictable.
