Philip Lindsay McLeod

The Scottish Studies Society’s Scot of the Year Award, established in 1993, honours individuals with a Scottish connection who have achieved distinction through their contributions to Canadian society or the international community. This prestigious award will be presented to Philip Lindsay McLeod as the Scot of the Year 2026, recognizing his creative legacy and meaningful impact. The nomination was submitted by Jamie Lees on behalf of Jank Words & Pictures. Festivities will take place in April 2026, near Tartan Day, in Windsor, Ontario—with full details to follow.
