On September 14, 1911, a young, married Dundee woman left her two toddler sons at the foot of Hilltown. The boys were found in a pram, in front of a pub, across from the Wellgate Steps. 

 

Today 113 years later, The Wellgate Project gives Mary Petrie Smith a voice to tell her side of the story, my family’s story.
